The International Institute for Child Rights and Development

Research

IICRD is grounded by its complex and ground-breaking research initiatives within Canada and around the world.

We pride ourselves in offering an innovative way to conduct child rights research which focuses on the well-being of the child as our foremost concern.

Using a variety of research techniques aimed at allowing the opinions, feelings and concerns of children to be the driving force behind system change, the IICRD is able to bring a child-centered approach to child rights research.

The child is not only someone who has to be protected, but someone who has a right to respect and consideration of his or her own dignity.
