Claiming Our Place in the Circle: Indigenous Children's Rights
This booklet summarizes the gathering on Indigenous children's rights held in Victoria July 1996. Children and traditional Elders met with UNICEF program officers and members of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, creating community and global strategies to strengthen Indigenous children's rights, specifically for health care, education, protection and participation.
