It is rare for me to find that the information provided by children is not helpful. My experience has been that the discussion with children generates not only useful information, but is frequently a powerful tool in the continuing dialogue with the parents and social workers.
Lekwungen: Then and Now
This beautifully illustrated booklet was created by the Songhees Youth Group. It documents their journey of re-discovery learning about their cultural and ecological history guided by their Elders. An excellent example of a youth project breathing life into the Convention.
