Associate
Valeria Cortes has extensive experience facilitating learning and developing leadership skills in multicultural contexts. She has worked in various capacities with children, youth, and adults in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Val is also an Associate Faculty member at Royal Roads University. Her research and practice includes the use of arts-based methods, particularly transformational theatre, as a tool for exploring social issues.
Recently, Val discovered her love for puppeteering and hopes to create very engaging experiences for children through the IICRD.
