The International Council For Children's Play 27th World Play Conference will be held at the VUB University in Brussels, Belgium on February 1-3, 2015 - organized in co-operation with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy and Psychology and Educational Sciences. Play is studied across the whole range of academic disciplines, from computing science to sports science and from history to philosophy. Across these diverse disciplines a vast range of methodologies and methods are used to arrive at a better understanding of the fascinating phenomenon of children's play.
'Researching Play - Challenges and Opportunities' aims to share effective ways of researching play and to promote discussion about the methodical challenges faced by play researchers. This conference aims to stimulate a multidisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience, and abstracts are welcome from researchers studying play from any discipline.

Closing date for abstracts is 30th September 2014.
Authors will be informed about acceptance or otherwise before 31st October 2014. All applications must include an abstract of the presentation. The abstract must: be submitted in English maximum length of your abstract should not exceed 200 words.
