Right To Play International and the International Institute for Children's Rights in Development (IICRD) invite you and your colleagues to join us for an exciting first in a series of webinars on the Transformative Power of Play to bring together a transdisciplinary and intersectoral community of diverse scholar, research, and practitioner experts in play to explore and advance the pivotal power of play in young people's lives.

We are pleased to launch the first webinar and discussion Play for Children’s Rights during the celebratory week of Universal Children's Day! The webinar will be on Thursday, November 23rd at 10:00 a.m-11:00 a.m. EST/7:00-10:00 PST.

The Webinar will be facilitated by international children's rights expert Dr. Tara Collins, Ryerson University, who will provide an overview of children's right to play and its pivotal role in the realization of other rights. Dr. Collins will pull from a Forthcoming Chapter entitled Advancing the Right To Play for Sustainable Development in International Development Programming in Fenton-Glynn's Children's Rights and Sustainable Development edited book and her wealth of experience and expertise in the sector. The Webinar will be an opportunity to learn more about the role of play in supporting to realize children's rights and to engage colleagues from around the world.
